We’ve added a Collection Display Case to the Children’s Room where kids in grades PreK-4 can display their collections for a two-week period. What kinds of collections? Anything! From stuffies to LEGO, books to trading cards, the sky is the limit! Have a collection you want to share with the community? Visit the Children’s Room to sign up.
The Display Case was made possible by a generous grant from River Forest Public Library Foundation. The grant also funded new forward-facing shelving, which highlights our Board Book collection for easier browsing and enjoyment and new iPads downloaded with kid-friendly apps that kids (up to Grade 4) will be able to borrow and use in the Children's Room with their library card. The new iPads will be available soon!
